A postcard with a twist: Paris vibes (but in Notting Hill)

A pied-à-terre that feels Parisian but is in fact in the heart of Notting Hill, West London.  Is it the French windows, the parquet floor or the bistro-style table and chairs set for two, or just the overall atmosphere of the room ? 

We re-designed and fully refurbished this flat for its new occupant without losing the charm that had attracted her initially.  We mixed new and antique pieces with unusual vintage finds to create a pretty, feminine and calming apartment, described by the owner as 'a magical retreat.' See more of it here.
