Summer post cards

Did you ever play the word association game? You know, the first person says a word and the next person says the first thing that comes in to their head and so on. This idea of 'picture association' got me thinking about 'associating' classic summer imagery with rooms we have designed.  Retrospectively. It's just a bit of fun.

The soft pinks, brown and cream colours in this bedroom lead me to Neapolitan ice-cream. Obviously. 

Three tones of aqua in the tiles in this bathroom is reminiscent of Hockney's A Bigger Splash. Dive on in.

 I love the Tour De France cycling race where some stages are raced amongst the sunflowers. The Zellige tiles in this shower are just as sunny.
