Don’t just take it from me

At the end of every project we send a short questionnaire to each client to gauge what went well (and what we could have done better).  The most recent feedback is about a project in South West London where a baby was on the way.

We do considered design in a considered way, always listening and asking 'what does our client desire?'  I put this approach at the heart of our studio culture. We are a small but experienced team, and I keep very close to all aspects of each project. We approach everything with enthusiasm, a critical eye, a rigorous process but also with humour.

Our raison d’être is to create a home that authentically reflects the owners and everything they love. Nothing gives us more joy than hearing we have achieved that for each client. But don't just take it from me, here is that feedback in full:

What made you choose us for your project?

"We were introduced via a  recommendation from our neighbour, whose flat we absolutely loved. We lived next door throughout the renovation and were amazed at how smoothly it was managed — not once were we disturbed. It was clear that the process was handled with great care and respect for the building and its residents.

Our first meeting with Jess really sealed the decision. She didn’t just ask about the design — she wanted to understand how we live, what we love about our flat, and what we envisioned.

The follow-up captured our thoughts so precisely, even my husband (who hadn’t been at the meeting) was astonished at how well his ideas were articulated. That’s when we knew she was the right person to bring our home to life."

What part of your new space do you love the most, and why?

"Honestly, every part feels like a major upgrade — we truly love our home now. But a few areas stand out:

- The entry hallway feels so much more spacious due to the mirror Jess designed — it adds height and light in such a clever way.

- The nursery is a favourite. The darker skirting brings character, the adorable curtains add a touch of English charm, and all the furniture  was thoughtfully chosen to maximise space and work with the room’s low natural light.

- Our laundry room has been cleverly hidden — we can now close the door and welcome guests into a tidy, elegant guest bathroom.

- The study/playroom is transformed  with a custom desk and shelving. It’s now functional for both work and play, with loads of clever storage."

How did you find the experience of working with our team?

"Working with Jess and the team was  impressive - professionalism, attention to detail, and clear communication stood out from the beginning.

She went above and beyond in finding the right solutions for our home.

It’s that level of dedication and thoughtfulness that sets her apart."

What would you say to someone considering working with us?

"Jess truly listens. She takes the time to understand not just what you want your space to look like, but how you live and what matters to you.

She’s realistic with timelines, highly organised, and works relentlessly to deliver  — on time and with care.

You’ll be in the very best hands."
